1/19/11

I got to school at ten today and I missed time to work on PBL which is bad. I worked on the planning form all day trying to find experts and sites for the benchmarks. I still havnt finished them which frustrates me a little. Brain break was different today. Instead of playing games, we had a community meeting about the rules of brain break since nobody participates in it anymore. We decided it was important enough to make mandatory. There wasnt very much to today. Now its almost time to go.

1/11/11

Unfortunately, I missed morning meeting so I didn't get to hear the whip:( I did come in right when we were starting our first FLVS block. I got one assignment done, and it was a pretest. That wasn't a very successful block. For brain break I decided to stay in because it was way to cold to outside to even do anything. My second FLVS block, I only got one assignment done again, but it was a little more important. It was geometry and Nathan thankfully helped me a lot on it. For lunch I had my same usual sandwich:) Kickball was pretty bad for my team. We only scored one point out of the whole game. Next FLVS block I got one more geometry assignment done, which was good. Later Mrs. Sylvia came in and gave us a mini lesson on common errors. It was good to learn about these things that come up a lot in our papers. OH. BY THE WAY. Joanna just enrolled into OH. I'm pretty excited, and I think she is too:)

This morning we had a good morning check in, and then we worked on FLVS of course. I pretty much didnt get anything done that first block. Brain break was fun though. We first played Blob tag, then Sharks and Menos. Second FLVS block I got some spanish done which was good. Lunch went by fast and Leah and I were talking about our middle school times. Kickball was pretty good. I couldnt run today, so I couldnt kick either. My legs are to sore from going to the gym on tuesday:( Anyways, it was still a good game. The dominators basically killed the butterflies:) We came back and watched a little channel one then went back to our seats to work on some more FLVS. Thankfully I got this one geometry assignment done that I have been stuck on for a few days now. Its been a pretty slow day, but good.

Today was a successful day for me:) We are trying to finish up our first semester of FLVS this week so we are working on it non stop. My daily goal that was posted this morning said what I needed to do today. I got most of it done! Im pretty excited. I finished a geometry assignment, a chemistry assignment, and three spanish assignments! Im hoping I will finish geometry and spanish sometime soon. Chemistry is another story though, but I wont worry to much. Anyways, its been a busy day and Im super tired, so I'm ready to go home.

This 3rd block I got my spanish quiz done, and thats about it. Didnt get that much done.

I give myself about a 4, only because I got distracted a lot, and it was less time.

Second block I worked on studying for the Module three practice exam in geometry, then took the test. I missed 6 out of 22 questions which is ehh okay. I also read the 4.02 spanish lesson.

I rate myself probably a six or seven, I think I still could have gotten more done, but im glad I got the practice test done.
